some good points, some bad points
I've had two other SOG keyboards, both of which I loved; but I keep spilling drinks on them, so I decided to try a cheaper keyboard this time XD I really liked the brown switches on my last keyboard, and it's apparently the only one SOG currently makes with that.
THE GOOD POINTS:
-the switches work well for me
-I didn't realise it at first, but the keyboard is hot swappable!
-it's a smaller keyboard but I still have the numeric keypad
-the keyboard lights up well
-the price is reasonable
the bad points :
-the construction seems cheaper, but I don't really notice it unless I pick up the keyboard
-I hate the keys. They're ugly and you can only read them if the lights are on. I changed as many keys as I could from my old keyboard. I now have a Frankenstein keyboard.
-some keys don't have extra springs, like the space bar. It's not as nice, but in time I think I'll get used to it.
All in all, for the price, it's an excellent keyboard! The major negative point for me is the keys; I might have returned the keyboard if I hadn't been able to turn most of them off.
