Teac 's TN-400BT-X is a superb analogue 3-speed belt-drive turntable with a die-cast aluminium platter that provides precise rotation speed, while its static S-shaped balanced aluminium tone arm ensures accurate tracking. Its built-in Phono EQ amplifier allows the TN-400BT-X to be connected to a conventional hi-fi amplifier or hi-fi microphone system, while its universal type head allows you to change cartridge easily. An integrated Bluetooth transmitter lets you listen to LP recordings wirelessly, with high-quality sound (thanks to the aptX and AAC codecs).
Aluminium turntable and integrated phono EQ amplifier
Teac 's TN-400BT-X is equipped with a high-inertia die-cast aluminium platter, which is driven by a high-torque DC motor, via an integrated EQ phono amplifier. high-torque DC motor via a durable rubber flat belt, providing extremely stable playback at speeds of 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm.A precision-machined stainless steel spindle and durable brass bearing maintain accurate rotational speed, thanks to reduced friction.
The TN-400BT-X features a built-in Phono EQ amplifier that supports MM-type cartridges, allowing the turntable to be connected to conventional amplifiers or micro-systems that do not have a dedicated turntable input. ThePhono EQ amplifier uses a hi-fi quality NJM8080 operational amplifier chip (designed by JRC) that amplifies the tiny.
By filtering frequencies below 18 Hz, the TN-400BT-X prevents excessive LF signal levels from being sent to the amplifiers, presenting an easier electrical load to all connected loudspeakers.
Statically symmetrical S-shaped tone arm
The S-shaped, statically balanced aluminium tone arm is equipped with a counterweight and anti-skating mechanism that allows precise adjustment of balance and tracking pressure, ensuring accurate tracking during playback. A tone arm lever is also fitted, allowing the tone arm to be gently lowered onto the discs.
The tone arm supports universal type heads, so users can change cells with relative ease. To reduce signal loss between the tone arm and headphones, gold-plated contact points are used to help provide an uncorrupted audio signal.
Bluetooth wireless audio streaming with aptX codec
The TN-400BT-X 's Bluetooth wireless transmission system supports the aptX and AAC codecs, as well as the classic SBC codec. This means that even if you don't have a hi-fi system, you can still enjoy high-quality playback via Bluetooth-equipped headphones or speakers.
The TN-400BT-X brings elegance to the disc playback process. The machined aluminium control knobs reflect the high quality of the product, while the aluminium feet, attached to the high-density MDF chassis via shock-absorbing rubber , offer high resistance to feedback.
The turntable comes with Audio Technica's excellent and versatile AT95E MM-type cartridge , employing a lightweight aluminium cantilever, which ensures a precise and highly musical level of playback.
