This model features a Filmmaker mode that preserves the fluidity of movement, cinematic colours, dynamic range and brightness imagined by directors for the big screen. This BenQ projector is designed to meet the needs of filmmakers.
Theadvanced LCE (Local Contrast Enhancer)algorithm divides images into more than 1,000 zones, analyses the brightness of each segment and adjusts the gamma of each zone separately for better definition of dark and bright details and greater image depth.

The new HDR10+ technology adds dynamic metadata to HDR10 source files, making it possible to adjust and optimise each frame of HDR video and improve detail in the light and dark areas of the content. To give you the impression of being at the cinema, the W5800 incorporates the Dynamic Black function, which analyses the brightness level of each scene to optimise the light emitted and contrast. The BenQ W5800 also offers full connectivity with 2 HDMI 2.0b ports and 1 USB 2.0 port for displaying content from a USB stick or external hard drive with ease.
The W5800 is ISFccc certified. The renowned ISFccc calibration allows you to customise the image and colour performance for each space, and offers preset day/night light balancing modes.

While picture is important, sound also takes centre stage. This BenQ projector features an SPDIF port and aneARC port for 7.1-channel audio and Dolby Atmos, delivering full-resolution original audio signals to your audio system via a single HDMI cable.
The W5800 is equipped with a silent multi-channel cooling system that effectively reduces ambient noise levels to a range of just 27-30dB.The elegantly patterned lens ring tilts back to prevent stray light and eliminate light leakage from the optical engine.Vertical ventilation grilles evacuate dust from the cooling system.
