Despite the good components at a fair price, this computer is far too noisy. Fans spinning at 2500 rpm idle, decibels between 20 (idle) and 70 load. Unfortunately, there's no way of undervolting it to lower the temperature and therefore the speed of the fans. Nor is there any way of changing the temperature/speed curve, so I'd strongly advise against buying this laptop unless you're very hard of hearing.
