This super-cardioid mic has a sleek, functional design that's ideal for a single voice. It guarantees that background noise won't be heard. An integrated damper in the robust microphone stand also helps to ensure that your streams and recordings are as quiet as possible. Monitor the audio stream from your headphones via the 3.5mm connection and multi-function control knob, which also allows you to adjust microphone gain and volume and quickly mute the sound if you cough or sneeze. Use the included JBL QuantumENGINE PC software to adjust EQ, activate noise reduction and perform a quick mic test, all from your computer screen.
The JBL Quantum Stream Talk is a really good microphone. With it, your voice will be clear and audible thanks to a fast-moving diaphragm that's light, sensitive (-44 dB ) and has a wide, uniform frequency range (50 to 12 kHz). With 96 kHz/24-bit recording, your streams and recordings will sound better and capture every nuance of what you're saying.
This Quantum Stream Talk microphone is a single-voice pick-up model. With this mic you won't hear any background noise in the room, because the super-cardioid pick-up pattern will be focused on your voice. Just like your audience.
Enjoy immediate mute when you need it. Press the centre of the control button to mute the sound momentarily. The LED lights at the top of the microphone stand turn red, so you always know when the sound is muted. Unlike some of your colleagues during Zoom meetings.
On this JBL Quantum Stream Talk mic the same knob controls both mic gain (how loud your voice sounds in the mic) and headphone volume (how loud your voice sounds in your headphones), so you can adjust your sound even during a streaming session or recording.

- No directionality, it records noises from behind / to the side as well as the person speaking in front. And there's no filtering of noise from moving the microphone on the table, so be careful not to move it.
