Almost identical to Noctua's famous flagship 120 mm NF-A12x25 fan, the Noctua NF-A12x25r features a round frame. Its rounded shape makes this model the ideal companion for low-profile dual-tower CPU fans such as the NH-D12L, and is ideal for compact systems that cannot accommodate square-framed 120 mm models.
Highlights
The NF-A12x25r is identical to the NF-A12x25 except for its round frame, which allows it to adapt to environments that do not allow the use of a square 120 mm model. For example, the NF-A12x25r can be fitted between the two stacks of fins on the NH-D12L low-profile dual-tower cooler without causing compatibility problems with heatsinks or high fairings on the motherboard.
The NF-A12x25r is equipped with Noctua's famous reference bearing: the SSO. This is the very latest generation, even more optimised. The SSO2 is equipped with a rear magnet closer to the axis for greater precision, longevity and stability.
