Performance as high as ever
Like the OM-1, theOM-1 Mark II is powered by a stacked 20.4-megapixel BSI Live MOS sensor. This sensor lets in more light while optimising low-light performance. The TruePic X image processor continues to ensure high start-up and writing speeds. Meanwhile, 5-axis stabilisation ensures that your shots are taken in the best possible conditions.
TheOM-1 Mark II carries on from the original OM-1 . The camera features a double buffer memory and remarkable sequential shooting speed - up to 50 fps with continuous autofocus - combined with greater autofocus precision and reliability.
AI Subject Detection autofocus detects subjects using AI not only to maintain focus more accurately and reliably, but also to detect humans. The OM-1 Mark II dramatically improves autofocus accuracy, particularly for outdoor wildlife photography. The result is an autofocus system that locks onto subjects reliably, even in the most demanding photographic scenarios.
Shoot like a pro
Shooting in 4K means you can produce exceptionally sharp, vivid video that looks great on the biggest screens. The OM-1 Mark II can also shoot in Full HD at up to 240p, which looks stunning on any screen. You can also shoot at high bit rates in a variety of formats, including H.264 and H.265.
Slow things down and capture the ultimate in slow-motion video. 240 frames per second in Full HD is a feat in itself. Thanks to the TruePic X processor, theOM-1 Mark II can now record the snap of a bat at a baseball game, slow down the tongue of a chameleon and even capture the flight of a hummingbird.
TheOM-1 Mark II worksefficiently. Combined with the high-capacity BLX-1 rechargeable lithium-ion battery (included), you can shoot for hours: up to 500 photos on a single charge.
More compact, IP53-rated design
Lighter and more compact, the OM-1 Mark II gives you a better feel, 8.5 stops of stabilisation power and excellent battery life.
Designed to operate in all environments, with IP53-certified waterproofing. If you're shooting and suddenly it starts raining heavily, or if you're working in a desert and a strong wind is blowing sand everywhere, or if you're taking snowboard photos and the temperature is below freezing. The OM-1 Mark II will follow you anywhere, it's capable of anything. You don't even need a protective cover. A sophisticated system of seals prevents the elements from penetrating the camera, allowing you to work to the best of your ability without having to worry about your camera.
OM System has designed the OM-1 Mark II to withstand the cold, even when temperatures drop to -10°C.
