The successor to the legendary KANN MAX and benefiting from allAstell&Kern 's know-how, the KANN ULTRA pushes back the limits of everything you've ever known in terms of audiophile portable music players.It features a dual ES9039MPRO DAC for bit-perfect playback of PCM streams up to 32 bits/768 kHz and native DSD decoding up to DSD512. This already high-performance portable music player boasts an optimised amplification section capable of delivering up to 16 Vrms balanced (4.4 mm jack) and 8 Vrms unbalanced (3.5 mm jack). This means it can power all headphones and earphones in the best possible way.

The KANN ULTRA is the culmination of this commitment, providing optimum conversion of audio formats up to 32 bits/768 kHz for PCM streams. It is capable of native decoding of all DSD and MQA files. To perfect its design, it features an exclusive ES9039MPRO dual DAC designed by ESS, with even more advanced modulation to significantly reduce power consumption, noise and distortion to just 0.0004% in both balanced and unbalanced modes.For more precise and detailed playback, this player features Digital Audio Remaster (DAR) technology , which oversamples low-resolution files.
To give the KANN ULTRA a significant performance boost, Astell&Kern have added dual amplification: a balanced output for the 4.4 mm jack and a second for the unbalanced 3.5 mm jack. To limit interference, the outputs have been isolated. Exclusive Teraton Alpha technology eliminates power supply and component noise. The result is even more accurate listening. This musical amplifier provides an output power of 8 Vrms for the unbalanced output and 16 Vrms for the balanced output. You're sure to be able to power all your headphones and earphones.

This audiophile player is equipped with an operating system developed by Astell&Kern, giving you a fluid, intuitive interface. With its Wi-Fi connection, it lets you access numerous online music services such as Spotify, Qobuz, Deezer and Tidal, with support for MQA files.
Equipped with numerous headphone outputs, the KANN ULTRA also features aBluetooth 5.3 controller that supports aptX HD and LDAC codecs as well as SBC and AAC. You're sure to be able to pair it with any pair of headphones or earphones.
Supporting a wide range of high-resolution audio formats, the KANN ULTRA has 128 GB of internal memory. This can be extended with a micro SD card of up to 1 TB.
The KANN ULTRA is easy to operate, thanks to its large 5.5" touch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It has a battery that gives you up to 11 hours of autonomy, and it recharges as simply as possible thanks to its USB-C port.
