Why do I say it's a beast of a competitor? Because its capabilities are quite simply extraordinary.
I've never had a Mac before, it's a total discovery. There's nothing I can't do with this macbook.
There are more powerful computers out there, but for the average person, it's more than enough for most of the activities you could imagine doing with a laptop.
The only downside is the price: to get access to this monster, you need to invest a fair amount of money.
Once you've got over that hurdle, though, the matte black design is superb. The buttons are responsive, the applications are easy to find and everything is very intuitive. All you have to do is let your imagination run wild to create bangers.
I just bought my macbook pro mid-2012 in 2015 modified over the years with a ssd samsung 860 pro evo and 2 2x8 go corsair.
The new macbook pro acts as expected for the moment I am recovering my files and installations via time machine.
On the other hand, in terms of touch, it's still as simple and fluid as ever, and you feel at ease in front of the machine, and its colour is beautiful!
I highly recommend it despite the price.
nothing to say about the machine, an excellent compromise between power and elegance signed Apple, certainly a little expensive, but for a long-term investment it's well worth it.
