Very satisfied! Unlike other protective screens, this one comes with an application kit, cleaning kit etc...
And of course, the projection screen is solid, responsive and invisible!
This is the original Nothing product.
- PRO RENDERCHE OF PERFECTION with virtually invisible protection, very very close to being truly edge-to-edge and with no holes for the camera. The tempered glass material gives exactly the same finish as the bare screen, although there is more extra thickness than with the flexible protective film.
- INSTALLATION SIMPLIFIED by the presence of a frame that fits almost perfectly with the protection. Enough so that you don't have to hesitate to apply the protection by leaning on one edge of the card so that the protection is straight without worrying that it's more on one side than the other. It is, but it's slight enough to be acceptable even for a perfectionist.
There's also a sticky film for methodical removal of dust before installation. And a flat plastic tool to remove any bubbles after installation.
- ITS DEFAULT IS ITS FRAGILITY (unlike flexible protective films, it seems). Then, as soon as a crack appears, you have to change the protection. I suspect that the screen underneath is more susceptible to cracking when its protection has already cracked once. You don't want the screen to be cracked, it's a niche phone that few repair, and the official after-sales reporter is in Poland.
So I'd recommend buying at least 2 the first time, so you don't have to wait for delivery to change the protection.
(Also, I used to have a Fairphone that was so indestructible that I could ride my bike over it wheel to screen without breaking the screen, which had no protection, so my reflexes were a bit less careful).
So I still think it's worth it if you want protection that still fulfils its function and, above all, doesn't detract from the Nothing design.
