very satisfied
I bought this computer for my daughter's higher education.
I wanted a computer that would last a day on battery power, but that wouldn't be pushy.
here the processor is really strong.
cinebench:
multi: 6919
single: 1527
ratio: 4.53x
cpuz:
multi 4668
single 659.3
it far exceeds my 2020 i7 msi A10SC
on the other hand, it has 16gb, which nowadays seems to me to be the minimum. it cannot be upgraded, which is a shame.
no graphics card, but it wasn't necessary for its purpose, so it's perfect.
Large SSD, but not upgradeable (without changing it).
only one usb A, 2 usb C, that's not too bad but it's pretty standard especially on a 14". micro SD reader directly on the computer, and asus provides a USB C/RJ45 adaptor which is very appreciable.
the wifi is really good.
the screen is magnificent, non-touchy which is perfect because it avoids fingerprints, with a nice 2.8K resolution and super vibrant colours.
it's relatively shiny, which could be the most annoying thing, but it's very bright, so you can still use it without worrying, even in a bright environment.
the computer is ultra-light and pretty.
I'm not a big fan of Windows 11 Family, but you have to move with the times and live with it.
let's just say that microsoft puts in far too many hidden ads, information messages that are in fact just ads masquerading as system information but also messages in their browser, like for example when you want to install chrome, or mozilla, microsoft says that it's better to use their browser because it's more trustworthy... bullshit... that ends up casting doubt when you see a warning...
idem je supporte pas ce système qui impose l'utilisation d'un compte pour utiliser l'ordi, et qui cherche a nous vendre office 365 ou d'autre logiciel microsoft a tout bout de champ.
