Overview

Driving while listening to music has never been so fun

With the Caliber RCD239DAB-BT DAB+ car radio you can enjoy Bluetooth technology that allows you to play your own music as well as the radio in the car. Connect your phone via Bluetooth or play your CD collection. This car radio has several music playback options. It has been designed to give you a great time on the road with music.

Do you prefer to listen to the radio while driving? If so, you want good sound quality. The DAB+ radio tuner in this car radio offers better sound than the old FM band. Reception is better and there is less noise. DAB+ offers better sound definition, so you can enjoy more of your favourite hits and hear the voices of your favourite programmes better. There are plenty of DAB+ and FM stations to tune into, so you can easily switch between them and not have to keep searching for the right frequency.

Streaming via Bluetooth technology is fully possible with this Caliber car radio. Thanks to theID3-Tag, the RCD239DAB-BT displays the artist and song you are listening to on the screen. The RCD239DAB-BT has a 4-band preset equalizer, so you can tailor your music to your taste.

For listening to music other than via the radio or Bluetooth, the Caliber RCD239DAB-BT has several connections. Firstly, there is a CD player. If your music is stored on a USB stick or SD card, well, you can play it through the SD card reader and the USB port. If you still have an older playback device, use the 3.5 mm auxiliary connection.

The RCD239DAB-BT also offers the possibility to connect an additional amplifier and subwoofer. This is done via the RCA or sub output on the back of the radio. The radio is equipped with an ISO connector, which makes the connection Plug&Play (provided your vehicle has an ISO connection).

    Do not buy

Very disappointed with my purchase. I wanted to test the brand sold by LDLC, frankly I would have done better to buy JVC or Sony ...

    Pros :
    -made car radio...
    -DAB+ antenna supplied

    Negatives :
    -non-detachable front panel.

    Negatives:
-the display is ridiculous. 1 third is used by a useless equalizer-type animation, but it has nothing to do with the current sound. It goes up and down all the time. Another quarter is used by a completely useless cross symbol. The info is displayed on what's left.
And the station displays "Title" before displaying the song title (ditto for the artist). So the display is already useless, and it's taken up by useless pre-info.
-Can we change the brightness of the radio? Or change the colour? It's a mystery. And the manual won't help - it's virtually useless.
-Unconvincing DAB functionality. Searching for stations takes a long time, you save them on a shortcut, then when you come back to them there's nothing left. But this may be due to the fact that I live in an area with little DAB coverage.

Anyway, I bought it for DAB. I bought it for DAB and bluetooth, and to test the ldlc brand. Very bad choice.
If I hadn't had it delivered to a shop that doesn't take it back, I would have returned it straight away.
