Thanks to its Intel Celeron Quad-Core processor, the QNAP TS-264 NAS lets you enjoy a high-quality multimedia experience. Real-timevideo transcoding and HDMI 2.0 output allow the TS-264 to support direct playback of multimedia content on TVs and monitors. The TS-264 hosts 8 GB of RAM (non-expandable) and has two 2.5 GbE ports to enhance everyday use and run virtual machines and compact containers. Home users can also take advantage of the TS-264's media portal capabilities to stream and share photos, music and videos to all their devices.
High-performance quad-core NAS
The TS-264 is designed for homes and small offices, allowing you to effortlessly manage files and enjoy multimedia entertainment while providing reliable data protection. It uses a Quad-Core Intel Celeron N5105/N5095 processor (up to 2.9 GHz), has 2 x 3.5-inch SATA 3 Gbit/s and 6 Gbit/s drive bays. What's more, 256-bit AES encryption (for NAS volumes and shared folders) protects the confidentiality of sensitive data without compromising performance.

Access your NAS anywhere
The TS-264 stores data and files centrally and supports popular file sharing protocols including SMB / CIFS, AFP and NFS appliances for Windows, Mac and Linux /UNIX. Combined with Qsync (a feature that turns a QNAP NAS into a secure, high-capacity data centre for file synchronisation), any file uploaded to the TS-264 will be made available on all connected devices, such as PCs, laptops or mobile devices. Hybrid Backup Sync allows you to easily backup or synchronize data to other QNAP NAS, remote servers or cloud storage for disaster recovery. In addition, QuDedup technology dramatically improves the efficiency of multi-version backup to destination storage, while optimizing storage utilization. You can install the QuDedup extraction tool on your computer and restore deduplicated files to their normal state.
Easily deploy a monitoring system
With the QVR Elite subscription-based intelligent monitoring solution, you only pay for the channel licences you need, so you can protect your property affordably. You can organise dedicated, independent storage for surveillance data on the TS-264 and enjoy simplified camera management, storage allocation, live camera viewing and playback. Recordings are saved as MP4 files for playback on virtually any device. You can also use USB webcams as network cameras with the QUSBCam2 app, and remotely control your surveillance feeds at any time with the companion QVR Pro Client mobile app.
