    MSI -> disappointed, LDLC -> top-notch service

I had chosen this card for the MSI brand which I have always been satisfied with until now and now...
I install this new graphics card, I boot my PC... And I discover what is called the Coil Whine...
Positive point, personal computer culture enriched because I absolutely did not know...
Negative point, return of the card directly to LDLC because it is defective.
I was able to get it back to the shop immediately after validating my diagnosis.
    Great service from LDLC!

Nice, provided you have a next gen proc!

It's all in the title! Owning a 9700k, a nice little bottleneck of 15-20% easy to feel. I only use it for 2K, 90-110 fps average at full ultra/high on recent games with on the other hand a great cooling of 50-60 degrees max with the fans at 50%. DLLS3? It's cool, but you have to have games that use it properly... which is not very common nowadays, so we'll see in the future... However, I still regret my purchase... a 4080 would have been much more comfortable even if it's only for 2K, especially if you're aiming for the famous holy grail of constant 144fps! According to the benchmarks made with a 13900k the card still struggles to master 144fps in constant ultra/high mod also without DLLS enabled... and I'm not even talking about RAYtracing... by the way, only remember the beginning of this word (lol...)

Conclusion ? : Hmmm.... DUBITATIVE for 1079e ! This card is in my opinion made for gamers who will be ok to do 120fps with graphics compromise while waiting for the deployment of 100% efficient DLLS on all games. You are in a hurry? You want to do 2K with 144fps, get a 4080! You are not in a hurry, skip your turn and wait for the 5000 series, which will certainly answer the current problem of 2K not mastered for a high budget in this kind of range.

    Malfunctions

Starts to malfunction from 66°C 38% fan
Artifacts start to appear (sometimes full of black dots, sometimes full of big white squares)
The card stabilises at 70°C 40% fan

1200W power supply, 2 different lines to power the card.
Cold PC interior (CPU watercooler out + 4 fans 120mm)

For a GPU that has to work at more than 80°C, it's a shame!

This GEFORCE RTX 4070ti Gaming X Trio from MSi is a "Must Have" for 2023.

I bought it knowing that it was super efficient in 1440P (WQHD), and this is verified in all games!
The whole thing is SILENT (2 modes are available on the card).
It does 4k with flexibility but it is clearly not for this type of screen that I took it.
The price is still correct in spite of its basic price... Inflation obliges.
The little RGB effects from Msi are always nice and on this one they are quite pronounced with a very good brightness.
The card is really well designed, it's clean and it shows!
This card allows the 4000 series to switch to DLSS3 in a smooth way in terms of price and especially with the advantage of being very well controlled in terms of temperature under full load or not. It remains very quiet in most cases and that is an excellent point.
So why would you want a 4080 or 4090 at all costs if you're not looking for 4K at all costs?
It's not very heavy compared to its big sisters, it does have a very large heat sink but that's why it doesn't heat up much because it's very well cooled. Nevertheless it will need a big enough case without necessarily a big tower, it is just necessary to let it breathe a little ;). I finish by saying that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Display port output which is of unbelievable quality! I had before a Gigabyte RTX 3080 Eagle and frankly it's night and day in the thinness, I can't believe it. All in all a very good investment to enjoy this 4000 range ;). Do not hesitate to use GPU-Z which allows (among other things) to check the PCie 4.0 16x connection between the motherboard and the graphics card.
