Bought this Alienware PC on 25/11/22, recommended by friends and family for its "reliability".
After a year (on 26/11/23) the screen flickers, turns white and shuts down. Test with an external screen connected via HDMI: OK, it's really the laptop's screen that's out of order, just on the day the warranty expires, Dell doesn't support this.
Big disappointment for such an expensive model. I wouldn't recommend this product at all.

Very good product
It's a pity we're limited to 2000 characters, there's a lot to say! I'm not sure how to find a compact laptop with a real graphics card, but this one does the job perfectly. I would never have thought of buying from this brand, but I must say that the competition at the time of my purchase was... Well, nothing at all available in France. So I took advantage of a 700€ promotion on the price (??) to buy it.
So, I might as well get to the point. Nothing to say about the design and the finish, it's classic Alienware, the keyboard typing is pleasant for a laptop, the Alienware software is not too invasive, and the performance is in line with what you'd expect from a 3060, which will run greedy games without any worries in high/ultra quality (The Witcher 3 & Monster Hunter in my case), and will be an overkill for less greedy games like LoL / WoW / etc...
As far as noise is concerned, because it's what I was dreading the most, it's a good surprise. Of course, it is not a library, but it is really well contained for a small format with a graphics card under the bonnet, and less noisy than my old 15.6'. Well done for the achievement. And, to underline also the usb type C charger, which is a huge YES and was one of my criteria, to be able to charge this PC with any Power Delivery charger, allowing recharges with external batteries, cigar lighter chargers, or generic chargers, as long as they are Power Delivery compatible, which is more and more the case, and avoids the hassle of proprietary chargers
Among the defects, since it has some, I will mention the only USB type A port. So yes, there are 3 USB type C ports including the one used for charging, yes it's in the description of the article, and yes, more and more type A is abandoned. But if you still have Type A devices, consider getting a hub.
