Long waiting times.
I wasn't able to get this keypad because the waiting times were too long. I had to get the model in black on antracite grey, which isn't a problem in itself. On the other hand, this model, unlike Apple's peripherals, doesn't connect immediately on start-up; you have to hit a key (any key) first. What's more, if the Mac has been in standby mode for a while, the pad disconnects and you have to press a key again. This is a bit annoying when you have to type numeric codes regularly, especially in hidden boxes, as is increasingly common with passwords. So you regularly find yourself typing your passwords twice, because the first time you type it, the first character is missing. I'm getting used to typing 'delete' or 'end' once or twice before I start typing my code.
