One big disappointment is that this cable doesn't support data transfer. This means, for example, that while my phone is connected to my computer, I can't use USB connection sharing, even though the computer tries to use it as a priority. And it asks me each time I connect if I trust this computer, without ever recording my agreement. In short, I strongly advise against it.
