A few main drawbacks:
- Lag of at least 100 milliseconds during recording, which makes gaming unpleasant.
- It takes more than 5 seconds to synchronise the video input, but once it's synchronised you're fine.
- The partition used for recording tends to get corrupted regularly (the video files don't seem to be affected). You need to "repair" the partition from the PC.
Apart from that, it does the job.
