MAT speakers
The 12th generation Uni-Q incorporates speakers with MAT technology to deliver an even more impressive acoustic experience. MAT technology consists of a labyrinthine structure that effectively absorbs 99% of unwanted sound coming from behind the tweeter. The result is a pure, natural sound with no distortion. Inside, the KEF LS50 Meta features a 25mm vented aluminium tweeter and a 130mm aluminium cone midrange driver. The remote flexible port provides detailed sound with good depth by reducing midrange coloration.
Optimised design
The LS50 Meta's robust enclosure is optimised for enhanced acoustic performance, with curved surfaces allowing sound to radiate to the front without interference. Internal vibrations are perfectly contained thanks to the presence of spacers and the constrained layer damping system. And for the perfect installation, you can position these KEF speakers on the optional S2 floor stands.
