With the Razer Huntsman v2, treat yourself to a keyboard with unmatched responsiveness. This gaming keyboard with linear optical switches gives you an even quieter typing experience and other high-end features that make it a complete package. It's great to look at, with customisable RGB backlighting to give it a unique look.
Linear optical switches
The Razer Huntsman v2 gives you smooth, quiet strokes. In fact, these switches are now more responsive with a polling rate of up to 8000 Hz for lower input latency.
And with an industry-leading 0.2ms response time, the 2nd generation optical switches with Razer HyperPolling are 3 times faster than magnetic switches.
A comfortable keyboard
The Razer Huntsman v2 has a multi-functional numeric keypad and 4 multimedia keys to keep you comfortable and entertained. And with an ergonomic wrist rest, it reduces the pressure on your wrist. So you feel less fatigue, even when playing for long periods.
With up to 16.8 million colour options on the backlight, the Razer Huntsman v2 gives you the ability to to choose from a number of pre-loaded lighting effects to create your own colour palette for a unique gaming experience.
Key Features:
Razer Linear Optical Switch Gamer Keyboard
Dual-injected PBT keys with secondary functions printed on the side
100 million keystroke life
Razer HyperPolling technology with a polling rate of up to 8,000 Hz
Multifunctional digital knob with 4 multimedia keys
Ergonomic palm rest in soft leatherette
Integrated hybrid storage: up to 5 profiles
Fully programmable keys with on-the-fly macro recording
It's been 2 years since I bought this product. The keyboard is expensive, that's a fact, but the comfort of typing and the magnetic wrist rest mean that I've quickly adopted it.
The key click is less noisy than that of the Blackwidow, which has green switches as opposed to purple ones, which is a plus!
The RGB is sober and doesn't attack the eyes, there's no need for anything more unless you want a little rainbow pony unicorn desktop.
Razer's downside remains their Synapse software, which is as cumbersome as ever, even if it's handy when you know how to use it.
It's pretty much the best in terms of responsiveness (optical switches, 8khz hyperpolling....).
I think it's magnificent, takes up very little space and is VERY QUIET compared to my old Corsair K70 Rapidfire.
It's the equivalent of a linear switch. I'm very happy with it for my complete razer setup (blackshark+nommo+deathadder+......). I wanted to unify everything under razer synapse, which I find very successful.

The.... keys
Overall, the keyboard is good - the keys are quiet enough, the stabilisers do their job and the keyboard is responsive.
The keys :
- textured keys (a little too much for my taste)
-very fine typography.
-I can understand the logic, but it's disturbing, as it highlights a lot of "ugly" symbols.
Keys + backlight..... (I'm not a fan of tinsel and I type with ten fingers)
-with the keys the backlighting is very weak, the macbook keys are better backlit....
-only the top part of the keys is backlit, otherwise you end up with printouts, as soon as it gets dark all the functionality keys... good luck
-So the numbers aren't backlit.
I got the keys from my old K63 corsair keyboard, (only the bottom ranger is not compatible and there are no longer the play pause etc... function symbols).
The backlighting is great all of a sudden, and the few keys that I don't know I can find quickly.
The backlighting is now more powerful than on my old K63, and the variation in brightness finally makes a difference.
Conclusion: the keyboard is great, the keys are really bad even though they're 2shot-pbt. It's a shame, without the key problems it would be very good.
NB: the qwerty version has all the symbols on the top of the keys.
Excellent build quality. Comfort of use and typing at the top. Quiet Razer Red switch.
The only downside is that the alternative symbols are not illuminated.

Very good material
This keyboard is perfect for competitive games, nothing to say about its performance but at least the wrist rest is of average quality, it quickly takes the shape of the wrist and the lighting is poor (some symbols are not illuminated, it's a shame) otherwise very good products.
