11 programmable buttons with on-the-fly sensitivity change
Programmable RGB backlight (16.8 million colours)

Improved button design for more comfortable and efficient clicking
Fulfils its function perfectly, to be honest I don't use it to its full potential. The cable is not braided, neither on this one nor on the black version. I had a cable that stripped and caused bugs, luckily the LDLC warranty is great and the customer service the best on the market. I got the black one as a replacement as it was no longer available, but apart from the colour it's the same :)

Good mouse, strawberry software
Not much to say about the mouse. I read somewhere someone complaining about the scroll wheel having some play. This is not the case. It actually has a side click.
Lots of buttons on the mouse, but in the end, the configuration has to be done through the Logitech G HUB software. software that is not intuitive and is sometimes completely broken (I've already been forced to uninstall it twice). As most games don't recognise the specific buttons, you have to associate them with keys on the keyboard in the G HUB software. But when the software stops responding (fortunately it's rare), the mouse loses access to its buttons configured by the software.... which is annoying when it's in the middle of a game. Also, the DPI management is not great in my opinion, and you also have to go through G HUB, without the relationship between the speed in PPP and the change in mouse resolution being very clearly understood.
In short, the mouse is very well finished, the idea of adding the weight so finely is good. It glides perfectly, the sensor is extremely precise. On the hardware side, you can buy it with your eyes closed.

G502
One week of use and the scroll wheel doesn't work anymore and the right click is not working at times. I don't recommend it.

A good mouse complete with annoying little details.
I'm very pleased with the service, no problem, very fast delivery as always.
I bought this model as a replacement for a logitech G400 because I wanted a similar model, full palm and quite heavy.
From that point of view, it's ok, there's not much choice elsewhere anyway, slightly different ergonomics but appreciable, it's finally quite light and comes with small adjustable weights that I thought were gimmicky but that I'll use in the end, a little plus.
In the gadgets, there is mostly the useless customizable light logo but at least the light is not intrusive.
The mouse does have 11 programmable buttons but 3 are not recognised by default in the games, so you have to go through the complete - but very austere in explanation - G Hub software to create macros on each game, which is off-putting.
On the other hand, they are very well placed! It's a nice change from my old G400 except that 2 of the most useful buttons are one of the 3 unrecognised buttons, are used by default to increase and decrease resolution...and are right next to the right-click.
There is a small central button to vary the resolution with a light marker at each change, handy.
There is a button to lock/unlock the wheel, the freewheel wheel is great for web browsing and the click wheel is great for games.
A straight thumbwheel that acts as a thumb rest appealed to me at first... before I realised that it hinders balance in FPS, a sort of false good idea but one that can be partly corrected by the weights.
In short, it's not a perfect mouse, small details well thought out but sometimes badly executed.
On the other hand, there are not really any other similar choices in gaming mice at a decent price anyway.

Best mouse ever
I've been following the G502 for years, it hasn't lost its lustre and Logitech continues to maintain it so that it doesn't fall behind technologically.

It's good quality, it's as described.
I find that there is a "perfect" number of buttons: not too few, not too many. It's the best compromise I've found on the market in this sense.
