Excellent screen
After a year of use, here's my review of this near-30-inch MSI Ultrawide. First of all, it still works excellently, colours are still as accurate as ever after setting the screen to sRGB mode and the colour temperature to normal. The packaging was pretty decent, with everything you need supplied, including a USB B/A cable to use the screen as a dock.
The 200Hz is a real plus when gaming. I've been using a Samsung 27" at 240Hz for some time, and yet the MSI looks smoother and sharper. This is probably due to the better response time (1 vs. 4 ms).
But this is a 21:9 screen, so as well as enjoying a wider viewing angle in games without having to resort to fisheye (which I hate), you can enjoy a film with dignity without borders. Contrary to what we're used to seeing, this is an IPS panel and not a VA one, and that really has an impact on visual comfort, even after a few hours' use. With the added bonus of impeccable viewing angles.
I highly recommend it.
