A sound of great and incredible purity.
The speakers are heavy and large, so should be reserved for a fixed PC.
On the other hand, the sound reproduction, whether via jack or optical, is absolutely pure! The bass and treble are truly astonishing. The best speakers I've ever owned. Combine them with a good sound card and you've got a perfect sound package.
On the plus side:
* Simplicity of use: Two buttons, one of which is used to select music, film or game settings. The middle one is for volume.
* The beauty of the speakers, simple and elegant.
* The incredible sound provided is of professional studio quality.
* The complete cable kit, including the optical cable, is a great help when you're just starting out.
The black points: The first main button is too versatile:
* The first button is used to select the output sockets and you have to press it 4 or 5 times to select the optical or other sockets.
And it's used to put the speakers to standby mode by pressing it long enough (4 seconds minimum). Often, when you want to switch it to standby, it simply switches to another output and you have to press 4*5 times to switch back to the original output.
* Quite heavy speakers that can't be moved afterwards.
