Qwerty keyboard with scroll wheel, edit keys, trim, timecode - USB-C
The editing keyboard with a premium metal design
The DaVinci Resolve Editor Keyboard is an editing keyboard that takes its inspiration from traditional keyboards and includes most of the Speed Editor keys, as well as a Qwerty keyboard optimised for editing. It has been designed in machined metal to meet the needs of professional editors who spend hours on this all-encompassing work tool. Unlike flat keyboards, the DaVinci Resolve Editor Keyboard's keys have multiple levels to make it easier to find your way around. The key switches are similar to those on eSport keyboards and are guaranteed to last for over a million operations. The keyboard also has a very comfortable wrist rest to reduce fatigue.
Improved keyboard based on professional feedback
On the DaVinci Resolve Editor Keyboard, the Qwerty key layout has been revised based on feedback from professional editors. However, you still have all the traditional editing features of DaVinci Resolve's Cut and Edit pages. So you'll still be familiar with the keyboard. All the standard editing modes are included on the keyboard. In addition, you can use the JKL keys for playback and splicing with the keyboard instead of the scroll wheel, but with the new layout you get new features on the keyboard, such as the Viewer button that switches directly to a full screen view. You can even edit from the keyboard in full screen mode!
Scroll wheel with clutch
The integrated thumbwheel is made of machined metal with a rubber coating that gives it an incredibly solid feel for controlling your clips or timeline in DaVinci Resolve. It has an electronic clutch including a shuttle and position stop, all under software control. With multiple rolling bearings, the wheel is very smooth and can be operated in jog mode to scroll through the timeline in a natural way. Jog mode allows you to move freely to position the playback point precisely. Shuttle mode uses the clutch to allow you to move forward and backward in the timeline. Scroll mode allows you to scroll up or down to quickly navigate a timeline with many edits.
For direct timecode entry
When entering edit points and durations numerically, you will find a numeric keypad specially designed for timecode entry. The F/TC button is used to switch between timecode and images. Simply press this button to switch to frames. When typing longer timecode values, the double zero button will prevent you from pressing the zero key repeatedly. The plus and minus buttons allow you to shift time values from the current values. The Duration button allows you to numerically enter the duration of a clip. Entering the duration numerically is one of the most used functions! For example, if you need to set the duration of a clip to 100 frames, just press DUR, F/TC and 100!
Designed for your office
Themodern design of the DaVinci Resolve Editor Keyboard also has a very specific function. Thanks to the thin border created by merging the keyboard surface with the chassis underneath, the DaVinci Resolve Editor Keyboard fits perfectly on your desk. Its futuristic design will perfectly match your latest computers. It even comes with folding legs to increase its tilt. However, its base is functional, as it allows you to install the keyboard in the slot of a desk or console. The keyboard will be stable on your desk and your console will look great.
