Perfect
With an I7 12700K, on a tower designed for video editing, fluidity is the order of the day. I particularly like the slots for M2 NVME 'disks'. What a pleasure!
The MSI MPG Z690 EDGE WIFI DDR4 motherboard is designed to accommodate 12th generation Intel processors on socket LGA 1700. It will allow the assembly of a powerful and versatile configuration capable of performing all tasks. Gaming, streaming, intensive multitasking, multimedia creation, it is the ideal solution to design a high-end PC with high performance. It also supports DDR4 RAM, PCI-Express 5.0 16x graphics cards, SATA 6 Gb/s and M.2 PCIe 4. 0 drives, and USB 3.1 and USB 3.2 devices . With MSI's quality manufacturing and a host of proprietary utilities, it represents a long-term investment.
The 12th generation Intel Core processors are a small revolution in the world of x86 architectures, they are the first to integrate a hybrid architecture. This process consists of combining two different types of cores on the same chip. The first 1, called Percormance-Cores, are dedicated to performance in games and mono-threaded applications requiring resources. The second type, called Efficient-Cores, are particularly efficient for multitasking and side task processing. Together, the two provide spectacular performance and incredible responsiveness for your system.

The motherboard is very good except :
- When removing the "Twin froz" heat sinks to install M2 SSDs the fixings are not properly crimped to the CM and so the coolers "wander", it looks NOT PRO AT ALL for a 370€ CM, I didn't expect that from MSI...
- I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the same software as the CM, so I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the same software as the CM.
For the 1st point, I think it deserves 5/10, I don't know if I stumbled on a wrong number, I wanted to test MSI having had an ASUS CM previously. I'm not sure if I've stumbled on the wrong number, I wanted to test MSI as I had an ASUS CM previously, but given the experience I had I'd advise you to go for an ASUS CM or another one at the same price that won't have this flaw.
