What a pleasure to be able to run my games with all settings at maximum!
The card is also limited in length, which means that it can fit into as many PC towers as possible.
I saw a review below that said it was going to be 80 degrees all the time!
On this point I have only one thing to say! Either his case is a badly ventilated oven! Either his card lacks thermal paste and therefore has a problem!
Because mine I swear that it NEVER exceeds 65 degrees while it is OVERCLOOKED at its maximum!
So yes it's true I did a pretty aggressive ventilation curve, but since then it doesn't bother me at all I play it's maybe also due to the fact that I play with a helmet! if not in short the gpu boost goes up on average to 2000 MHZ
The memory is at 10 000 mhz! All this with my little overclocking as already said in office mode the card is at 35 degrees on average and in games it is between 55 and 65 degrees!
During very long sessions it can go up to 68 degrees but it's still quite rare!
Obviously for that you have to take the place of the hot air that the graphic card extracts and act the air flow of the pc accordingly, if not it can quickly be anything!
It is of course a question of logic!
I am sincerely HAPPY with my purchase ! Yes I would have preferred a msi SUprim x! But not for 400 € more ! No, no, no! To gain in the end what? 7 fps big max more? Strictly nothing that can be seen with the naked eye RESTONED ! in short it's worth all the other rtx 3080 ti, just question overclocking the power limit is a bit more limited than the big brands, but to gain 8 fps, the difference is just numbers in the top right and nothing more !
So in short, GO FOR IT Gainward card makes good stuff
Great value for money!
Despite the difficulty in obtaining it, this 3080 ti remains fairly close to the recommended price.
No problems with fan noise (read in other reviews) or concerns about overheating with a well ventilated unit.
No worries, I recommend!
received in a very respectable time, installed without any problem... of course the power supply had to be changed (650W --> 850W, otherwise blue screen sometimes when it's running at full speed!)
As far as operation is concerned, it's a killer.
two points that take away a star :
- the price (we know the situation on this subject...)
- the surprise when opening the box (impeccable): the box of the CG was a bit stuck as if it had fallen on a corner... the fixing system of the CG was a bit twisted. So big scare before putting everything on...
I am extremely disappointed with my purchase despite the fact that the performance is up compared to my old GPU (2080Ti MSI Gaming X Trio). I have a good performance gain due to the Nvidia chip. What was playable in 1440p60 before is playable in 4K today with a better managed RTX and DLSS (which means that we even have some power margin on 95% of the games in 4k ultra) It's great BUT... I can't enjoy my purchase because I have my eyes permanently riveted on the temperature which during the sessions in REAL 4K (without DLSS) in a few minutes I see it titillating 80° (fan at 100%). As a result... The GPU Boost is very very little used... Moreover, for its low cooling capacity, the card is so noisy that one wonders why, given the temperatures. Fortunately, I can feel the up because of the power of the chip but with hindsight, if it was possible to exchange it for an X trio or another model light years away from Gainward's design...
I want to clarify my test in fact after 2 weeks of intensive testing I understood that the card is really similar to the founder edition except that it has a much better cooling system so level of performance it will be neither more nor less than the 80 ti fe but thanks to its cooling system it will show much higher with its GPU boost because it It is also important to know that this model is exactly the same as the palit game rock but really the same in almost all the rest of the differences it is just cosmetic in fact this card is really very powerful you are really quiet the only small shadow of the picture it is in fact its Power limit that we can make only of 4 % in more 104 The only small problem is the power limit which can only be increased by 4 % to 104 %, so being a big fan of overclocking it was the only problem for me during these 2 weeks of testing but it's not because you have time because in the end it is still capable of 9h clocking which made it go up by 6 % in performance and which for me has never passed the 68 degree mark, so thanks to 15h clocking it arrives at the level of gaming x trio without lying to you I made many comparisons of benchmark in 4k with different 3090 and 3 1080 TI go really in the level if not really it is of quality there is well POPcaps and mofset which manages the power supply of the graphics card perfectly I am really very happy with this card I was afraid at the beginning because I thought that gainward was a little a subI was afraid at first because I thought gainward was a bit of a sub-brand but in fact it's not at all, it's really a very good quality brand I hope they'll continue like this because for three 400 € 2 months than the other models it's great to have a good card as I said the only small shadow is the 4 percent of the power limit that can be done and not more and frankly it's a handicap at maximum 2 to 3 fps compared to others in short it's not that that will make a big difference
I was a bit afraid of this model, because no test, and compared to msi gigabyte ect Gainward is not the most known! Yet it works PERFECTLY
Heats up very little!
And can even be suitable for a little overclocking ;)
In short I do not regret in any case
