Not compatible with my motherboard/CPU duo
-Very good memory kit for AMD platforms but if you want it for an INTEL, forget this bad idea right away.
- BEWARE of LDLC's "PC configurator". Their policy is to sell, not to check whether the components are 100% compatible. (I won't go into too much detail but, basically, the XMP profile is considered as overclocking, so it's not considered as "normal" use. Even if on the sales header of the product sold it displays the XMP value...)
So I had to use these rams at 2133 Mhz instead of 4400 Mhz. See the story...
- G.skill has very good customer service. Don't try to explain the above story to LDLC customer service, they will give you the above excuse.
In short, do the right thing, look on the manufacturer's site of your motherboard (look at the tested rams) and from there, you will have less worries than trusting the LDLC configurator.
