Apple still has a lot to live for... :(
As the owner of an old MacBook from 2012, but having to switch to Windows for professional reasons, I was expecting a revolution when I switched to the latest computer.
Although I haven't had the chance to push the computer to its full capacity yet, I've already noticed that the computer fumes continuously (even when no application is open - and I'm on a smooth, hard and clean surface), and the noise generated is quickly very unpleasant when you're working (it even becomes unbearable when Firefox, Excel and Dropbox are open at the same time - that's one example). I may have done something wrong (I hope so...), I'd better find out. Help ? I'm looking...
The computer seems to be well finished but can't be compared to a MacBook that's almost 10 years old: the pad is noisy and much less pleasant, the battery doesn't last as long (even if you're going for optimal autonomy), the hinge to close the screen seems to be of much lower quality, etc. The fluidity is still superior (fortunately for a brand new i7) and the computer turns on in a few seconds, which is nice!
I'm not at all pro Apple by nature, but fortunately an equivalent product from another brand costs half as much and many applications are Windows optimised in businesses, otherwise there would be no other brand left on the market.
5/10 for the benefit of the doubt of the untapped potential and the quick resolution of my problem... I have nothing to say about the delivery time (and I am on the other side of the world).
