The Synology RackStation RS4021xs+ is a high-end, high-performance 16-bay network storage solution that supports all aspects of your business with powerful data management, collaboration, and networking tools and comprehensive data protection mechanisms.
Its Intel Xeon D-1541 Octo-Core processor and DDR4 ECC memory (expandable to 64GB) ensure smooth handling of heavy workloads and multi-tasking. Built-in 10GbE connectivity promotes fast data transmission and can be combined with an additional 10GbE network card to achieve sequential read speeds of over 6258 MB/s and up to 234,698 IOPS.

The Synology RS4021xs+ is a powerful 16-bay rackmount NAS that gives you enterprise-class performance. The storage capacity can be expanded up to 40 drives with two Synology RX1217(RP) expansion units.
The RS4021xs+ is equipped with Synology's optimized Btrfs file system to provide high reliability and performance. Btrfs supports advanced storage technologies that meet the needs of modern business.
10 GbE LAN and Expandability
The RS4021xs+ features PCIe 3.0 x8 slots for installing expansion cards to provide SSD cache and/or 10 GbE network connectivity.
The 2 built-in 10 GbE LAN ports ensure fast data transmission and can be connected to an additional network interface card for increased network bandwidth.
