Top performance but it gets hot!

Nothing to say about the performance, but the GDDR6X gets very hot if you overclock the card. As I was worried about temperatures over 100°C (I know some people think it's normal but I don't like it), I changed the thermal pads. Everything worked fine for 2 months, then one day, for some reason, the card is no longer recognised by the computer, either under Windows or Linux. I sent it straight to the after-sales service (LDLC is top notch, immediate delivery order). And there, horror: as the card was dismantled the guarantee does not apply any more says MSI. It took all the perseverance of Julien, from the after-sales service, to get an exchange from MSI (but it took a long time, with 2 return trips of the card). All costs were covered by LDLC, Julien worked like hell, in short, all's well that ends well. A big thank you to LDLC, really the after sales service is top notch and deserves that we sometimes pay a bit more for the products. Thanks also to MSI who finally accepted the exchange.

    very good

10/10 despite the extremely high price.
I was able to compare it to the 6900XT which I also bought.

    -Performance:
This one handles ray tracing much, much better, is better in ultra quality without ray tracing in Cyberpunk 2077 in 4K.
It beats the 6900XT (but costs twice as much...)
Mining level 117MH with 85% venitlators, power consumption stabilized at 320W.

    -Noise level :
you can hear it, whether you're mining or playing (unlike the 6900 XT which is much quieter)

    -Heat:
You can use it as a heater. Yes, really. It's a 320W heater for mining, and 400W for Cyberpunk. You need a well ventilated case. I have a Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 TG (black) with 4 Corsair Air Series ML 140 Pro LED RGB fans, and it works fine.

    In conclusion :
if you are looking for value for money without ray tracing, it is not for you. An AMD is fine, or even a 3070 with DLSS.
If you are looking for the best, go for it.

    Perfect in Nvlink

I bought a second one to test the NVlink and it's great, 48gb of Vram in 3D application is cool. The model cools well

    An unparalleled monster!

    Hello to all,

How can I say that this graphics card is monstrous!
I was previously on a 1060 3go I can guarantee that there is a huge gap that is felt I do not advise such a graphics card for a lambda person. Like Timothé 12 years old who wants to play Warzone but really for someone who wants to do 3d rendering, video editing, etc ...
Now let's talk about the negatives: the card is extremely thick I even have a pcie x4 port that is completely hidden.
And I couldn't even use it unless I plugged in a 90° razer (sorry for the spelling) which would be all flat.
To be able to use this port that's why I removed a half star because of the thickness which can be a problem (quite specific).

Now let's move on to the positive points: As the title indicates, it's clearly a monster in terms of power: on rocket league I'm around 540 fps, on minecraft I'm around 440 fps (and it varies enormously by hundreds of fps).
And all this in 1080p on an asrock X570 Aqua, a ryzen 9 3900X, 32go of ram in 3600mhz cl 18, Thermaltake the tower 900 case (black).
Temperature wise I made a pretty violent fan curve (50% fan speed at base and from 40° it goes to 70% and then every 5° it increases the fan speed by 10%), it doesn't exceed 55° (or barely) when it's at full power and even reaches the 2000mhz frequency limit!
I managed to get the card for 2000€ even if it was already quite expensive that now it's not affordable anymore, I didn't overclock the card and unfortunately I would like to start editing it but I don't have the time in any case if I have to recommend a 3090 the msi suprim x is great (after that still needs to be compared).

    Nickel

I have several models of the 3090, this is the best one.
The card is rather heavy because of the huge heatsink but that's for the best, it cools very well and very quietly. Does not exceed 50% fan speed in 4k 120hz games, very overclockable.

    A marvel

A marvel, the ultimate beast, efficient, beautiful and well finished. A top of the range without equal! It's true that it costs a bit and we all wish it was cheaper, but it's for all cards, otherwise it's THE 2021 graphics card. I don't regret my purchase, it's just amazing. And thank you ldlc?

    Unleash the power!

A monster of raw performance combined with a Ryzen 5900x! Be careful to have a well ventilated case with enough space for the rest of the components.

There is a switch on the cg to switch from silent to gaming mode, prefer gaming mode you will gain up to 10 degrees in temp!

A good 70 degrees in full load on 1440p in ultra.

Very good product, but thanks colissimo...

Great products, way beyond my expectations both in terms of power, and physical characteristics (moved from a 970 and then 1060 just before)

I'm very happy with this product, but I'm not sure if it's the right one for me.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to send it to a company in my town that was also waiting for LDLC parcels.

    A monster

A big card in every sense of the word, a lot of power under the bonnet, a big case (well ventilated) and a big power supply to run it (850w).
The card itself is very well finished, normal given the price.
For those who have the budget, go for it

Great product, top of the range!

The card is superb and impressive in power and physically, the lighting is at the top of the MSI!) goes up between 50 c° and 65 c° in 4K HDR pushed in Ultra config (Fifa 21, Rainbow six seat, Call of Dutty Black Ops Cold War, Cyberpunk 2077 and many other games.... all this accompanied by an I9 9900K) The card is silent I expected a huge noise considering the physics of the card and well no! it impresses me. I am a fan of Asus and well Msi in graphics card has not said its last word !!!!!
    I recommend this product !!!
I gave it a 10/10 despite the price of the card !!!!
