It has all the makings of a great one!
This small motherboard (micro-ATX) has a connectivity that rivals its larger counterparts: 2 NVMe slots, 6 SATA connectors, 4 RAM slots, 1 USB-C port on the back and so on. The whole thing is assembled with the utmost care: integrated i/o shield, heat sinks for the vrm, etc.
It looks robust and so much the better, because the performance is not outdone: support for Ryzen 3000 and 5000 (subject to a BIOS update for the latter), PCIe gen4 for both the SSD and especially the graphics card, 2.5 GB Ethernet... The addition of Wi-Fi is almost superfluous, but there is no choice: the B550M Mortar without Wi-Fi is no longer available for sale.
