I've been using it for a while now, but it's a good idea to use it with a 3.5mm jack as well, because it's a great tool for a lot of people. It would have been possible to connect with a 3.5mm jack as well.
Installed on a 10+ year old TV via optical cable.
Good sound quality, a good point for the option to clarify dialogues.
