The mouse does not respond properly to the mat. You have to lift the mouse and put it back down firmly while moving it quickly to see the cursor move on the screen. Not great. The island clings well to the stand when placed on the work surface. It is transparent so you can see the picture you have put inside...
clicks take a long time to respond, double clicks instead of single. depending on how you position your finger on the left click when you press and drag, sometimes it "drops out" during the move
