solid and reliable

The adapter looks solid and doesn't cause false contacts, so it's very good compared to what you can find online, which is unreliable and durable junk. The only drawback is that when you plug the adapter with the connectors at the end into an iPhone you hear a few seconds of clicking (due to the MFI chip?); if you don't start playing a podcast for example during this time the sound will be very muffled!
