While it may appear to be a cost-effective option at first glance, its performance and reliability can be a cause for concern for some users, especially those looking for fast, reliable storage for their system. If you have a bit more budget, it may be wise to look for alternatives that offer better performance and a better reputation for reliability.
After buying the same one in 2.5" for an old LDLC PC, I ordered this one to boost an old PC of a friend. This M2 has been doing the job for almost a year.
The only negative point is that I remember that the fixing screw was not supplied, and I had to dig deep into my old stuff to find it.
The product does the job I asked it to do, which is to boost a laptop that has a very poor mechanical drive for a bone, now it boots up in a flash, even browsing is improved (the addition of 4gb of RAM also helps).
I haven't done a speed test but clearly the feel is more than enough, one laptop gets a second wind.
