    When the monitor is working well

    The Viewsonic after sales service is a real shame: they send you back the same monitor, making you believe that it is repaired when it is not, and worse, you receive it with dead pixels. The LDLC one deserves 10/10.
    When I contacted them to explain my problem, they asked me to send the monitor back (at their expense), and 3 days later I got a brand new one.
    I am very happy with the quality of the monitor and the service.

    The monitor itself is now fully functional (hopefully for a long time) and I have to say that it's great!
    The colours are perfectly pre-calibrated from the factory, all the right connections, several video modes, a large number of image adjustments, etc...

    I don't use it for gmaing, but for photo editing, video, and more common tasks (mails, ...), and I must say that for the moment, I am satisfied with it.

    Faulty screen and catastrophic after-sales service

    I bought this screen at the end of December 2020 and just 15 days later I have to send it back to ViewSonic because it's defective (one of the 2 USB-C ports doesn't work, and the other one whistles when you plug a laptop into it).
    I'm not sure if it's a good idea to get a new, defective device.
    Viewsonic's after-sales service is responsive by email and asks me to send the monitor back to them ... to repair it. They don't even offer a standard exchange for a monitor from their PRO range at nearly 800€. What a shame!
    I do it, and more than 3 weeks later, still no news from them. They say they are waiting for a part. For a monitor of this price!
    In short, not to be recommended. I almost regret my purchase.

    The perfect monitor for work, photo, video, gaming

    Of all my orders, this is the product I like the most. After more than a month of use I have not found any noticeable defects.
    As for the pluses :
    - the screen size: the 21:9 aspect ratio is perfect for a virtual office worthy of 2020
    - The very fine colour settings allow you to switch from a game mode to a photo/video editing mode. In addition, it is possible to adjust the screen directly from a software installed on your machine.
    I also like the ability to adjust the height of the screen so I can work as comfortably sitting as standing! FINALLY!

    On the other hand, there are some negative points to mention...
    The menu is very rich which makes it easy to get lost in the settings... a customizable menu mode would have been a plus.
    Another point is that the screen in "normal" mode is not very bright, which means that with the light from the window next to the screen, the top corner of the screen is less visible...
    Another point... the integrated speakers take 3 seconds to activate... maybe it's due to an eco mode or a setting in the menu... to be seen... I personally don't care since I only use this screen for system notifications.
    But even its flaws make me give it a 10/10!
