A versatile counter
The Safescan 6185 is packed with automated functions that make counting cash at the end of a long, hard day's work easier. Count loose coins and notes, bundles of notes, bags and rolls of coins and add the amount of payments made by credit card and cheque. Mark each count with a reference number and time stamp information and automatically deduct from the total the amount of money left in the till at the beginning of the day.

An ingenious weighing system
The Safescan 6185 uses sophisticated coin weighing technology to quickly and reliably count coins, banknotes and non-monetary items such as vouchers and tokens, faster and more accurately than the most experienced cashier.
Starting with the smallest denomination, place each type of coin in the provided coin tray, place the tray on the scale, place each type of banknote on the scale, and voilà! The Safescan 6185 weighs and counts each denomination and adds it to the total amount. That's it! In less than two minutes, you have your cash register.

The Safescan 6185 is designed to offer you maximum convenience. Thanks to the built-in calibration weight at the heart of the system, the Safescan 6185 is always ready for use, even when you move it.
With its intuitive control panel and large LCD screen with a clear display, the Safescan 6185 is second to none. A number pad and nine easily identifiable buttons give you easy access to the most important functions of the Safescan 6185. The large LCD display shows you exactly what you need to know: the selected currency and denomination (or customised non-monetary item), the quantity and amount per item type, and of course the final result.
