I've fixed usb extension cables under my desk to bring back ports, so they don't get caught in the sliding keyboard shelf.
The gluing is OK but came off once (but is holding now).
The pads seem to be 3M stickers, but they're not the best stickers (but they do rip the backing off).
A good set of accessories to have to organise and put some order in the forest of cables of the office ;)
Can also be used in video/photo mode, to hang a light accessory or guide a cable, on the tripod for example
