A highly discreet camera
AXIS P1265 Network Camera is a modular, full-featured and cost-effective pinhole camera with HDTV 1080p resolution, ideal for discreet indoor surveillance at eye level. It can be installed in small spaces or recessed in a wall, ceiling or metal panel with only a small hole for the lens, and is suitable, for example, for ATMs and vending machines. The WDR - Forensic Capture feature allows the camera to handle scenes with strong light variations. AXIS P1265 is supplied with a mounting bracket and a removable 8 m (26 ft) cable.
Modular, plug-and-play design
AXIS P1265 Network Camera features a pinhole lens for extremely discreet, eye-level surveillance - only the tiny lens is visible from the outside. It is perfect when you need to capture perfect frontal shots, even if the person is wearing a hat or hood.AXIS P1265 is particularly suitable for use in ATMs and vending machines. It includes a sensor, an 8-meter cable (15 m/49-ft cable is also available as an option), a main unit with network connection and power supply, and a memory card slot. It's a complete kit ready to use, because we've provided everything you could possibly need. It offers a horizontal field of view of 91°, which is exceptional for a pinhole lens. It also offers excellent video quality with HDTV 1080p resolution. It features WDR - Forensic Capture, which allows the camera to handle scenes with strong light variations. AXIS P1265 also captures vivid colour video, even in low light conditions.
Scalable and easy to install
AXIS P1265 can be installed in very small spaces, and includes an easy-to-install bracket. The camera comes with a detachable cable for easy connection of the angle sensor to the main unit. This type of installation allows the use of accessory cables. Due to its small size (1.7 x 4.6 x 11 cm), the camera can be easily installed in small spaces. It can shoot HDTV 1080p video and is powered by the Internet (PoE). It has a built-in microSD memory card slot for local storage of recordings. AXIS P1245 supports Axis Zipstream technology, a more efficient implementation of the H.264 video encoder. This technology reduces bandwidth and storage requirements by an average of 50% or more in many surveillance situations. This encoding technology ensures that important details are retained and unnecessary data is highly compressed.
