GOOD PRODUCT, QUALITY CONTROL TO BE IMPROVED
I bought this screen for home cinema use, not for travelling. I wanted a screen that could be integrated into a custom-made 2.20 cm wide piece of furniture. By removing the castors from the screen I was able to gain about fifteen centimetres. The screen curls very little, and in any case it's invisible during projection. The deployment is very well designed and pleasant to use. The quality of the vinyl seems OK, but it's my first screen and I haven't had the benefit of hindsight. I find that projection on a white wall is still better for my taste, as the vinyl has a certain shine that a matt wall doesn't have. It has a slight 'glitter' effect when you're close enough. But I had no choice because of a chimney flue in our living room.
I didn't give it 5 stars because the screen I received had a sort of small shiny spot towards the centre, which was very annoying during projection. Also the butterfly mechanism was bent and rubbed. I made the trip to Oray to exchange it. The replacement screen offered had a small indentation in one corner of the fabric and a handle cover that had come unstuck. These 2 faults were quickly rectified on the spot and I left with a perfect screen. The after-sales staff are very friendly, competent and attentive.
To sum up: good screen, poor quality control, but good after-sales service.
