The Eaton Network-M2 Gigabit network card offers professionals new features for their UPS. With Gigabit Ethernet compatibility and enhanced cybersecurity, the Network-M2 improves power system reliability by providing pending problem alerts to administrators and helping to achieve an orderly and clean shutdown of servers and storage. The network card works with Intelligent Power Manager (IPM) 1.61 software to improve business continuity by triggering user-configured policies to keep critical applications running in the event of power or environmental anomalies, including virtual machine reinstallation or automated disaster recovery action.

Enhance your cyber security

Eaton's Network-M2 network card allows you to remotely view and control your compatible Eaton UPS settings via Intelligent Power Protector 1.61 and above, Intelligent Power Manager 1.61 and above or any network management system that supports SNMP v1 & v3.

In addition, a Gen 2 Environmental Monitoring Probe (EMP) (EMPDT1H1C2) can be added to the Gigabit network card. The new EMP offers temperature, humidity and contact monitoring sensors. Up to 3 sensors can be managed per host, allowing multiple sensors to be connected to a single host. This improves the richness of environmental data for the top, middle and bottom of the rack. Temperature, humidity and contact status can be viewed with a web browser via the network user interface.
