I use it as a monitor, connected to my Freebox, to watch TV and it's great comfort.
The size is more than comfortable, the picture is superb and the number of inputs is high;
I highly recommend this equipment.
I'm very pleased with the product, except for the menu which is a bit complicated and the access to the connectors a bit difficult.
Very fast delivery!
I come from a Dell 16/10 IPS 24" wide gamut screen calibrated regularly.
Photo and video use, never gaming.
My Nvidia GTX 1660 graphics card, I don't know how to get past 60Hz... when the specs say 80Hz.
On this VA panel, I discovered less open angles and this small defect is added to the width of the screen... necessarily, the field of a 32" is wider than a 24!
The panel is properly calibrated out of the box, in SDR.
You have to go into the menus to switch to HDR.
I haven't recalibrated the HDR... so no comment for now.
Warning: this is where the screen loses its stars...
The ergonomics of the menu/sub-menus is rotten !
The silk-screening (^ < > enter) of the touch buttons (on the bottom of the frame) is not very visible in a dark environment.
Even the (touch) power button is strange: it is not aligned with the LED.
The resolution of this screen is superb, and the fact that I can connect my MacBook Pro to it via USB-C means that I can use my hard drives, scanner, keyboard and trackpad without any hassle when connecting the computer to the monitor.
The screen size and brightness are a pleasure to use for photo editing and working with multiple windows. The Philips monitor offers several brightness settings depending on the activities of the moment: office, photo, film, blue light... What's also nice is that the settings of f.lux, the application I use on the MacBook to manage blue light, are supported (I have disabled this application for photo applications, to keep the natural light. And whether I use the MacBook connected to the Philips display or not, f.lux behaves in the same way).
On the other hand, it is impossible to use the keys on the keyboard to adjust the brightness. I find the buttons on the front of the monitor to reach the different settings inconvenient, as they are not very visible and not illuminated. The USB ports at the back are placed vertically, and not very convenient to access either.
Unless I set it up wrong, and despite the multiview mode, you can't work on the Philips screen and the MacBook screen at the same time; indeed, when the MacBook is connected to the screen, the display on the latter takes up that of the screen and the characters are far too small!
All in all, a very good screen, that's the main thing, but not fully compatible with Apple computers!
