The HoneywellEclipse 5145 laser scanner is a cost-effective alternative to CCD scanners. Its compact size and high-end features make it easy to use in a variety of applications at the touch of a button.
The Eclipse is a single frame handheld laser scanner. Equipped with Honeywell's patented CodeGate technology, it is suitable for a wide range of applications. CodeGate technology allows the user to easily target the desired barcode and initiate data transmission with the push of a button. This makes the Eclipse ideal for menu reading, point-of-sale systems, document processing and inventory control
Convenient and wirelessUsing Honeywell's advanced scanning technology, the Eclipse 5145 offers a more comfortable working range and reading field than a conventional CCD reader. The scan line widens as the reader moves away from the barcode. In the absence of an infrared object detector, the Eclipse uses CodeSense, a unique feature that provides a pulsed laser for barcode detection. When a barcode is detected, the laser switches to active mode to enable reading via CodeGate. |
