Sublime design, ultra-thin edgesThe ASUS VZ279HE monitor offers an exceptional design with only 1mm edges and a 7mm thick panel at its thinnest point. This simple and elegant design is highlighted by a sturdy stand with a rounded, sundial-like shape. |
Wide viewing angles with an IPS panelWith its IPS panel and high dynamic contrast of 80,000,000:1, the ASUS VZ279HE monitor gives you a rich and nuanced colour picture. The IPS technology also allows you to benefit from wider viewing angles (178°); the colours will remain homogeneous whatever your position in front of the screen! Furthermore, with 100% sRGB gamut reproduction, this monitor will be suitable for both multimedia entertainment enthusiasts and graphic design professionals. |
Image Optimised with ASUS SplendidEasily optimize the brightness, contrast and sharpness of your image with ASUS Splendid technology! With 8 preset modes (playback, darkroom, landscape, night, theatre, gaming, sRGB and standard), this innovation will easily meet your needs. Keep your eyes healthy with Eye Care. Flicker Free technology reduces eye strain, allowing you to work longer without discomfort. In addition, ASUS Blue Light Filter technology reduces the amount of blue light in the visible spectrum (more harmful to the eyes). |

A little disappointed with my purchase but the quality is ok overall. Lacks a bit of brightness, screen settings not great.
The delivery was fast and the product was well packed. Installation was quick and not too complicated. The picture quality is good and the Eye Care function is interesting for the comfort of the eyes. However, the screen stand is made of plastic and is not very stable. Without much effort, the screen vibrates when I type on my keyboard. It takes at least 2 to 3 seconds for the screen to stop vibrating when you finish typing or after touching a button on the PC screen. In short, I would not recommend this product because of the low quality materials and its unstable feet.
The pluses :
- visual comfort (mainly bought for its blue light filter)
- stable stand
Minuses :
- External power supply to gain in thinness certainly, but this is useless since the connectors linking the graphics card make the cables horizontal (impossible to stick the screen to a wall, it protrudes at least 5cm)
- No DVI connector, just HDMI and Dsub 15 (this is as described, just be aware of it).
In terms of cables? No HDMI cable, but there is a Dsub15 ... err ... but what for? When you buy a screen of this size it's not to connect it with "that" !
- The adjustment buttons have not been really well thought out. It's hard to get used to it, but fortunately, once set, you don't need to touch it anymore
