Thanks to this new mouse, I can finally resume all my computer activities despite my right hand disability. A real joy!
Pure Chinese quality product (echoing the Deutsche Qualität of the WV ads): communication on 1 subject (here the change of the angle) ... and the rest is not worth 140 euros! A pity!
But I was given the wired version at work, so I bought it for this aspect of changing the angle "on the fly": in the morning, I start at full speed, then in the evening I reduce the angle ... NO other mouse does this. I like being able to move the thumb support: precision, I took this because my hand really hurts and my workstation has been adapted.
I also like the adaptability of the mouse speed via button (handy if you have 3 27" Full HD screens and you plug the mouse into a PC with a 32" 4K screen.
Yes, I can confirm another opinion: the clicking noise is very audible when you work at 1am in your room and at this price it's HONEST! But hey, when you buy Chinese quality, you know what you are buying (-:
The drivers are still in beta, the management software is unusable under Windows 7 (my pro PC) and under Windows 10 I managed not to need it.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to use it on my PC, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to use it on my computer. The cable (USB or even the wired version) is quite strong so it snags a bit more than a wireless (off course). The glides end up getting stuck after 2 months of use and it doesn't glide as well: I'll have to buy a mouse glide and glue it underneath.
The 2 buttons on the edge are useless and too "resistant" to click. The 3rd button is recognized in Linux VM, and random under W7.
Now recommend this mouse? If you have a medical reason and the ergonomist gives it to you to choose with other mice in the space: yes! If not? My father, who has bigger hands, immediately preferred the Logitech MX Vertical, which makes less noise, is usb-c, Unifying, etc ...
I changed my mind about this product despite the very positive and optimistic start... But the daily use, rather disappointing and exhausting, pushes me to back on this product opinion.
The mouse itself is well designed, offers an incredible comfort, and switches immediately between wired and wireless mode...
However, the buttons are not programmable without fiddling with a third-party utility. The two badly placed "previous" and "next" buttons are therefore arbitrarily active in all circumstances.
The very unpleasant squeaking noise of the button clicks is reminiscent of the entry-level mice supplied in corporate computer fleets, nothing like the level of finish you'd expect from a mouse costing almost 150 quid.
If you're looking for a discreet mouse for home use at night, you've missed out. The wheel is quiet, but that's something.
Finally, the optical cell is poorly insulated and emits a discontinuous hissing sound that is almost imperceptible, both in wired and wireless use. This is an engineering detail that can be tiring if you have a headache or are very sensitive to electrical noise, and it's a flaw that's usually reserved for entry-level optical mice, but that's not usually found in more serious products.
In short, we're paying for the design, the inventiveness of the joints and the modularity of this mouse, but at the regrettable sacrifice of the main mission of a mouse: clicking, silently.
