As part of the Q Series, it features an innovative design and advanced acoustic technologies to deliver detailed natural sound with accurate bass. The Q150 is easy to integrate into any environment thanks to its stylish and trendy design. It is ideal for use with a home cinema or hi-fi amplifier with a recommended power output of 10 to 100W depending on the size of the room.
Innovative designTo maximise the high-resolution purity of the Q Series bookshelf speakers, the Uni-Q driver is repositioned in the centre of the speaker to reduce unwanted internal resonance and further refine clarity and detail. The addition of the tweeter loading tube provides gentle and complete damping of the sound delivered from the rear of the tweeter. Treble performance is dramatically improved, while a new low distortion coil on the crossover provides impeccable bass. |

Uni-Q speakerAt the heart of the ultimate Q Series is the Uni-Q driver. This proprietary technology places the tweeter in the acoustic centre of the mid/bass cone, allowing the acoustic ideal of the single source to be achieved. The result is a more detailed and accurate three-dimensional sound image, which is dispersed more evenly throughout the room than any other conventional speaker can provide. Uni-Q's ultra-wide dispersion technology is further enhanced by KEF's crown waveguide around the tweeter dome. |
