ONLY A FEW DAYS AFTER IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PRODUCT...
I had a negative experience about ten years ago with an Eizo ColorEdge monitor, whose horizontal pixel lines progressively deactivated until it became unusable... This had to be replaced by an NEC Spectra View which has given me satisfaction so far, but which is starting to get old (too many colour differences, even after calibration) and which will be reserved for other less demanding uses.
Well, Eizo has the reputation of a serious company, and we can suppose that they have made progress since... Nevertheless, for me it is a leap of faith, tempted by the presence of a built-in probe that should facilitate successive recalibrations. Let's wait and see...
When unpacked, everything is fine, very nice screen, clear and detailed manuals (those of my NEC were a real gas factory!) at the service of an almost intuitive ergonomics. Implementation, settings, first uses, test of the colorimetric probe, easy and satisfactory.
A small drawback however: when the probe located at the bottom of the screen deploys (with a nasty rattle!), it does not quite reach the vertical position, a tiny detail perhaps, but it does not make a good impression!
Note: since my misadventure with the previous Eizo, my installation is powered by a sinusoidal "on line" inverter of good power (1 kVA), to follow opinions collected on Internet...
