Gamer Case Fan - 140 mm - PWM Thermal Control - PST Synchronization

Overview

Keep a cool head during your games!

The Arctic Bionix F140 fan features a 3-phase motor for quiet operation, PWM and PST functions for maximum optimization and a redesigned fan to give you the best performance!

PWM temperature control and PST function

The PWM function allows the motherboard to automatically control and adjust the fan speed according to the load and temperature of your computer, in order to ensure the best possible cooling while minimising noise.

Fitting several fans in your computer will usually result in more efficient cooling. But what's the point if they don't all work together? The PST function allows you to synchronise the various ventilation systems in your machine (case fans, processor fans, RAM fans, etc.) to optimise their use.

Efficient cooling

The Arctic Bionix F140 fan offers quiet operation thanks to its three-phase motor. The fan has a long service life due to the low coil temperature and the three-phase motor.

The design of the blades of the Bionix F140 has been optimised to provide you with optimal efficiency while ensuring a reduction in noise. The Bionix F140 can be installed in one of two ways: to exhaust hot air to the outside or to bring cool air inside the case.

    Perfect extractor

The aesthetics remind me of a nice turbine with black and white contrast. The propellers have a tendency to exceed the very flexible frame.
I replaced the original screws by longer ones to be able to add a silentbloc.
The fan fixed at 7mm from the frame at the front of the case is silent and cools my case from 300 rpm.

Perfect for cooling a CPU or GPU in watercooling

I mounted it on my GPU watercooling, at 80% it is a bit noisy but it cools perfectly, that's all we ask.

    The pluses:
    _ Quality of materials
    _ Very good air flow
    _ Efficient for watercooling

    The -'s:
    _ 100% noisy
_ A bit thicker than my old Cougars

To be avoided for the airflow of a box or else mounted with a reobus.

    Good performance, but unacceptable vibrations

The design of the fan is very good, the air flow is good ..... but the product has a very big defect in its central axis:

    - When the fan is launched, some of the blades may protrude from the fan and rub against the case
    - At around 1000rpm the fan starts to vibrate and the whole box starts to vibrate ... enough to wake up the whole house

I wonder if they tested their product before selling it...
I'm going to switch back to BeQuiet ... less aesthetic but better quality
