Compared to my "mechanical" drives (some are over 10 years old) I give two stars for the price.
This is the second 120GB SSD that stops working without notice at around two years, the other was a Yucun, is SMART really implemented on this type of drive?
Used mainly as boot partitions for two operating systems (one for a SLED and one for testing other systems).
Fast delivery.
The disk boosts a tired PC.
Very fast start up under Ubuntu and quick response to requests
Ordered and received in May 2021.
Bought it to give my old bike a boost. I was delighted!
Full O/S and program start up super fast. Worked on 100/20 sharing.
PC plugged into UPS/lightning.
I suffered a sudden drive shutdown.
Faulty sectors; boot impossible; repair or full format impossible;
Burnt out after 1 year of use.
Even at 30 euros, this is difficult to accept.
While I still have IDE and Sata I HDDs that are over 15 years old and still work perfectly.
I'll forget the SSD and go back to the good old hard drive.

It really makes a difference...on an old PC, Windows 10 spends 100% of its time on the hard drive, on an SSD, it gives a real boost
So kingston practiced a real shame (not ldlc's fault) by changing the build models after sending them for testing to the influencer.moral of the story the disc is barely better than a hdd and deteriorates at a very high rate take anything else any other brand.
