Nice product, as expected. Produces a good image. One nuance about its hanging system, which is inadequate.
I was looking for a webcam that could run under Windows 11 and Linux Mint, and I opted for the Brio and I'm very happy with it. It worked well under Windows, and under Linux, the system recognised it without difficulty and I'm completely satisfied. The picture quality is good, and I use a Yeti for the sound. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a webcam that works under Linux Mint.
I've been using this webcam for over two years in combination with a Yeti X microphone (so I won't comment on the quality of the built-in microphone). I've tested it in all sorts of contexts and with a variety of software (Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, etc.). It's never failed me, and I've always found the right configuration for the job. In fact, we strongly recommend that you use Logitech Capture to make your settings before starting your meetings or conversations.
Having said that, I find the quality of the privacy panel leaves something to be desired; it's good to have one available, but it's not up to the price of the device. The same goes for the mounting clip, which does the bare minimum and won't prevent the webcam from falling out if you move the cable too much. Fortunately, it can be removed (don't hesitate to use force!), revealing a standard screw thread (1/4") that should be compatible with most tripods.
The logitech BRIO cameras, in K4, have always given me satisfaction! even at the level of the incorporated microphone. the microphone is not perfect obviously (omnidirectional) - It captures all the environment* - Quality price ratio: very satisfactory for this range of product (accessible to all) - * Microphone: For ZOOM, we have compensated for this inconvenience by adapting a tie microphone...
The 4K image is excellent. The camera takes into account the brightness for a clear and sharp image. On paper, it is possible to zoom, but it is impossible to set it up because there is no zoom in the settings. Big disappointment on this side. I had bought it for the image and the zoom.
To buy for the excellent image.
